Judnick Snocross Season Opener 2022 – Duluth, MN
During the second week of December, the Midwest was in the midst of facing intense winds and snow. That didn’t stop the AMSOIL Snocross Dominator, the kickoff event for the 22-23′ Snocross racing season. It also didn’t stop beloved Jack Link’s partner, the Judnick Motorsports team! Among a roster full of racers – Pro Rider Emil Harr came ready to ride, beef sticks on deck.
The track was full of twists and turns, and it was among the longest tracks of the season! Harr qualified and advanced past the first round of knockouts. Then came round two, which left us sweating with anticipation. Harr was neck and neck with experienced competitor, Kody Kamm. Out of nowhere, Harr channeled his inner Evel Knievel and flew for what seemed like a lifetime until he came crashing back down into the snow with no major injuries. It was like a movie stunt! Round 1 – Harr places 3rd
During Round 1 of racing on Saturday, Harr secured the number one qualifying position for the main event. In the first round of the race, he and his 600R Polaris rocketed out to a top five start. Harr slid past racers during the course of the event and rounded out the podium in third!

Round 2 – Harr places 6th
On Sunday, Harr’s speed was not reflected in his results in the qualifying rounds. Therefore, in the final, Harr was sitting outside of the top ten to start. During the race, he was the only rider to triple a back section jump! This swift move allowed him to gain several positions and ultimately place 6th in round two.

During the preseason, Pro Lite rider Carson Alread suffered another shoulder injury. He will be out for the season, but we support him in his full recovery! In additional news, the Judnick Team is proud to announce that they have signed Filip Harr to pilot their Polaris/Klim Jack Link’s sled in the Pro Lite ranks for the remainder of the season! Filip says, “I am so incredibly excited about this opportunity. Emil and I have grown up riding sleds together so to be on the same team at Judnick Motorsports is a dream. It’s going to be a great season!”
Congrats to Emil Harr and Judnick Motorsports on a strong start to the season. We can’t wait for the next event! The Judnick team will be back at it in early January at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, MN for rounds three and four.
