The 2022-2023 season ended last weekend at Sundown Mountain with the season finale. The series returned to Dubuque Iowa’s ski hill after a break since 2018-2019. Despite a muddy course due to scarce snow, the showdown at Sundown was exciting. Emil Harr maintained his Triple Crown dominance by winning Round 15.
Emil continued his winning streak in the Triple Crown, starting the first round tied for the lead and ultimately emerging victorious. In the second round, he again took the lead early and finished with a 5.7 sec lead. In the final round, he started in second and maintained his position, achieving 1-1-2 finishes and securing his third consecutive overall victory.
It was a beautiful day for racing and EH was revved up and ready to go for the final race of the season. He started off strong, qualifying for the Triple Crown and securing a top three start in the first round. EH was determined to keep up his winning streak from the day before, but unfortunately, he hit a bump late in the race and went off-track. Despite this setback, he came back and rode it out for a solid fourth-place finish. In round two, Emil fought off early challenges before taking the lead and riding his own race to a well-deserved third-place finish. But EH was still ready for more wild. For the last time this season, Emil took to the track and earned another top three start. He settled into third place early on and held his position until the end, finishing strong and securing third on the podium with 4-3-3 finishes. Despite the ups and downs, Emil Harr proved himself to be a top-notch racer, which was a thrilling end to the season.
After 16 rounds of thrilling races, the season ended in success – coming in 2nd in the premier Pro division points! Emil had five amazing wins and stood on the podium nine times. To top it off, this badass racer rocked the Triple Crown rounds by winning four out of six, leading Judnick Motorsports to their very first overall weekend sweep ever! After a legendary season and the team achieving some incredible personal bests, the Jack Link’s team is revved up and counting down the days till the 2023-2024 season.
