Jack Link’s® Sasquatch® and Win Instant Win Promotion Official Rules

 

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

 

1. Eligibility: The Jack Link’s® Sasquatch and Win Instant Win Promotion (“Promotion”) is open only to individuals who are legal residents of the United States, excluding residents of New York and Florida, who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the date and time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, and representatives of Jack Link’s (“Sponsor”), and its parent and affiliate companies, members, advertising and promotion agencies, distributors and other prize suppliers, including the Drop-In Partners (defined below) (collectively, “Promotion Entities”), as well as the immediate family (i.e., spouse, parents, siblings, children and grandchildren) and/or those living in the same household of each such employee, officer or director are not eligible to enter or win. The Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. The Promotion is void in New York, Florida, and where otherwise prohibited by law. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
2. Sponsor: Jack Link’s, 600 Hennepin Avenue, Suite 120, Minneapolis, MN 55403 (“Sponsor”).
3. Timing: The Promotion begins on 12:01 am on January 1, 2024, and ends on 11:59 pm on December 31, 2024 (“Promotion Period”). Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for this Promotion.
4. How to Enter: During the Promotion Period, you can enter the Promotion by taking the following action:  

Game cards obtained from certain random purchases from the following online outlets (collectively, “Drop-In Partners”): True Timber (https://truetimber.com/), Kifaru International (https://kifaru.net/), and Link Snacks (www.jacklinks.com).  Game cards may also be obtained in-person at certain live Jack Link’s activation events. Or you can obtain a game card without purchase (while supplies last) by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to Link Snacks, Inc. Sasquatch & Win Promotion, Attn: Marketing Department, 600 Hennepin Avenue, Suite 120, Minneapolis, MN 55403.

If game card indicates that you are an instant winner or discount recipient, you can redeem the prize or discount indicated by entering the code indicated on the game card in the indicated location on the checkout page when making a purchase on www.jacklinks.com.

Limit: Each entrant may receive up to one (1) instant win game play during the Promotion Period.  Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of plays by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that entrant’s entries and that entrant may be disqualified. One per person, while supplies last, regardless of how game card is obtained.  Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification.  Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected game card requests or registrations.

5. Authorized Account Holder. In the event of a dispute as to any registration or play, the authorized account holder of the email address entered at the time of purchase from www.jacklinks.com will be deemed to be the entrant or player provided that person meets the eligibility requirements to participate. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address.  Each potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder.  If a dispute cannot be resolved to the Sponsor’s satisfaction, the entry will be deemed ineligible.  The submission of an entry is solely the responsibility of the entrant.  Illegible, unintelligible, incomplete, garbled, lost, late, misdirected, forged, altered, or mutilated entries will be disqualified.  Proof is sufficient if so determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion.
6. Prizes; Odds: There will be 10,000 total prizes available to win in this Promotion. The prizes are listed below.

• The maximum value of any percentage-based discount is $100.  (For example, if a winner receives a 20% off code, the maximum value of product that such discount will apply to is $500.  And if the winner receives a 10% off code, the maximum value of product that such discount will apply to is $1000.)
• The $20 of Free Jerky code can be used on any meat snack product on www.jacklinks.com.
• The Free Hat or T-Shirt code can be used towards items in the Hats or Clothing sections of JackLinks.com.
• With the exception of the $250 Gift Card code, each code can be used only once.
• With the exception of the $250 Gift Card code, if the code value is greater than the items purchased during redemption, the unused coupon value will not carry over.  The $250 Gift Card code can be used until all funds are exhausted or the redemption period has expired.
• If the value of all items attempted to be purchased is greater than the code value, customer payment of the difference is required to complete the order.
• A code cannot be used or combined with other offers, including monthly subscriptions or any other promotional codes.
• A code cannot be applied towards previous purchases.
• A code is valid only on the purchase of in-stock items.

All codes, vouchers and credits will expire on December 31, 2024.  

All properly claimed prizes will be awarded, provided that a sufficient number of entries are received and that prizes are claimed in accordance with the timing and instructions set forth in these Official Rules.  Odds of winning a prize depend on the date/time of game play, and the number of prizes remaining available at the time of game play.  The number of prizes available to be won will diminish as they are awarded. 

Prizes will be fulfilled at the time the winner uses the code on jacklinks.com, but all codes must be redeemed by December 31, 2024.  Terms and conditions of digital gift codes and discount codes apply, as noted on Sponsor’s website. Prizes have no cash equivalent and all prizes are non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize for one of equal or greater value if the designated prize should become unavailable for any reason.  Winners are responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and/or use, unless otherwise stated herein. TOTAL ARV OF ALL PRIZES: $45,800.

 

7. Verification of Potential Winners: EACH POTENTIAL WINNER IS SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY SPONSOR WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE PROMOTION. Receiving a prize is contingent upon compliance with these Official Rules.  Potential winners may be required to sign and return a Declaration of Compliance, Liability and Publicity Release which must be received by Sponsor within five (5) days of the date notice or attempted notice is sent, in order to claim the prize.  If a potential winner of any prize cannot be contacted, or fails to sign and return the Declaration of Compliance, Liability and Publicity Release or provide any other requested information within the required time period (if applicable), or prize is returned as undeliverable, potential winner forfeits the prize. 

8. Release: By entering the Promotion, each participant agrees to indemnify, defend, release and hold harmless the Promotion Entities, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, partners, advertising/promotion agencies and each of their respective parent companies and each such company’s officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any losses, damages, rights, claim, or cause of action of any kind arising, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, out of your participation in the Promotion or resulting directly or indirectly, from your acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize awarded in connection with the Promotion, including, without limitation, personal injury, death, and/or property damage, as well as claims based on publicity rights, defamation, and/or invasion of privacy.

 

9. Publicity: Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Promotion constitutes a winner’s consent to Sponsor’s and its agents’ use of winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, statements, social media posts, opinions and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment, notice or consideration.
10. General Conditions: Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Promotion, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, printing error, human error or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prizes at random from among the eligible entries or plays received up to the time of the impairment. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or to be acting in violation of the Official Rules of this or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual found to be: (a) violating the Official Rules; or (b) violating the terms of service, conditions of use and/or general rules or guidelines of Sponsor property or service. Any person who supplies false information, obtains entries by fraudulent means, or is otherwise determined to be in violation of these Official Rules in an attempt to obtain any prize will forfeit any prize won and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.   No refunds are permitted with respect to codes. The value of any lost, damaged or stolen codes will not be replaced or replenished. Codes are void if copied, transferred, prohibited, taxed, or restricted.  Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.  Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
11. Limitations of Liability: The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, including errors or typos in these Official Rules or any instant win game related communication or materials, whether caused a Released Party or by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software, failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications or entry information, any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, failures or technical malfunction of any computer online systems, servers, providers, computer equipment, software, email, players or browsers, whether on account of technical problems, traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or on account of any combination of the foregoing; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries; (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Promotion or receipt or use or misuse of any prize or (6) late, lost, misdirected, illegible, incomplete or mutilated entries or for theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries. If for any reason an entrant’s entry or play is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another instant win game play, if possible. No more than the advertised number of prizes will be awarded.

By participating, participants agree that all disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts in the state of Minnesota, in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.

13. Winner List: For a winner list, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to List of Winners for Sasquatch and Win Promotion, c/o Jack Link’s, 600 Hennepin Avenue, Suite 120, Minneapolis, MN 55403. Requests must be received by February 1, 2025.
