Judnick Motorsports Race Recap – Shakopee, MN

Judnick Motorsports Race Recap – Shakopee, MN

Judnick Motorsports continues their ‘22-’23 Snocross season at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, MN. The world-famous horse track always showcases the most spectacular racing under the stadium lights and a packed house with high energy. It’s one of the most attended races on the circuit, making this race their ‘Daytona of Snocross’. On January 13th, Emil Harr opened the weekend with two third place finishes in his qualifying rounds. In the final, the Swede passed his way to fourth and when it was all said and done – he rounded out the podium with a third place finish! This makes it his tenth podium finish to date in the Pro ranks.

The next day the competition picked up speed, with Harr leading the field as he set the fastest lap time in Pro practice by a second. Despite this achievement, his speed was not reflected in his qualifying rounds and he had to start the final race from the back row. In an attempt to overtake riders during the final, Harr came off his sled, derailing his efforts. He ultimately finished in 11th place.

In other related news, Judnick Motorsports added a new member to their team. On December 30th, the team announced that Emil Harr’s older brother, Filip Harr, is joining the crew to fill in for an injured Carson Alread. Canterbury Park was his first competition with the team and he managed to add two top five qualifying finishes to his resume in the Pro Lite ranks. We wish the team the best and we can’t wait to see what these brothers accomplish at the next race!
