Judnick Motorsports Race Recap – Elk River, MN Round Two

Judnick Motorsports Race Recap – Elk River, MN Round Two

Buckle up! The Judnick Motorsports team hit ERX Motor Park in Elk River, Minnesota for the second time this season – but this time, the track was reversed. Riders were in for a lot of right turns, deep holes, and high jumps. And on top of all that, the Pro class racers were faced with an all-new format: Triple Crown Racing! Racers said goodbye to traditional heats and finals and raced in three rounds of pure adrenaline-fueled action.

During the initial round, Emil Harr began in seventh place, but swiftly made his way towards the front within a couple of laps. He expertly navigated the track’s edge and gained ground on other riders as he powered through corners. Five minutes into the round, Emil took the outside line in a sweeping corner and overtook his opponents. With an impressive 6.5 second lead over the rest of the field, he secured the lead and rode to victory. We’re telling you, this team is wild! Emil was faced a similar challenge in round two, starting from the back of the pack in ninth place. However, he skillfully overtook his competitors in each lap again, gradually climbing up to fourth place with only a minute left in the round.

In the third round, Emil was squeezed out at the start, but he still demonstrated exceptional riding skills by maneuvering under the pack in the first corner, which then catapulted him to fourth place. By the second lap, he had already claimed the lead, holding on to it until the end of the round to secure yet another crucial first place finish. With impressive 1-4-1 finishes across the three rounds, Emil Harr cemented his position as the inaugural Amsoil Championship Snocross Triple Crown Champion!

Saturday was a tough one for #31. Despite starting off strong with a fourth in the first round, Emil faced some major obstacles on the track. There were dismounts, entanglements with other riders, and just plain bad luck that hindered his efforts. But hey, we’ve all had those days where nothing seems to go right, right? Plus, let’s not forget about Friday’s stellar performance, which kept Emil in the top five of the Pro points chase in fourth place, just one point shy of third. In the end, he finished the weekend with 4-8-8 finishes for ninth overall. Judnick’s very own Emil Harr is still in a solid position to take on the competition.

In the Pro Lite ranks, Filip Harr recorded more solid efforts and battles in the highly competitive Pro Lite class, inching his way closer to making a final debut. Although Filip was still battling injuries this past weekend, we saw a newfound fire in his riding and are looking forward to seeing him close out the season strong. Two race weekends remain, and the Judnick Motorsports crew is more determined than ever. The team’s next rounds will take place in Grand Rapids, Michigan on March 24th and 25th!
