Jack Link’s Cup 2022

The first-annual Jack Link’s Cup was held at Quail Creek Sporting Ranch in Okeechobee, FL, on February 15-20th, 2022. Quail Creek Sporting Ranch is a 3,000-acre shooting ranch where sport shooting is the main event. For those unfamiliar with sport shooting, it’s an outdoor sport that honors adventure. Participants use shotguns to aim and shoot at clay disks launched into the air at different distances and angles. A total of 985 competitors went to Quail Creek Sporting Ranch to have fun, eat jerky, and win prize money. Our goal as the host of this event was to create the most visible sport shooting tournament in the country. 

Tournament Recap

Throughout the tournament, attendees were fueled by the protein power of Jack Link’s meat snacks. Our snacking stations became essential in satisfying hunger and keeping energy up! High-stakes prizes and giveaways were initially capped at $150,000, but payouts ended up totaling $197,650! Competitors were eager to feed their journey. The best clay shooters competed for the title of Top Clay Shooter in this multi-course precision shooting competition. Across all events in this tournament, Jack Link’s reminded participants to Feed Your Wild Side. We invited Olympic gold medalist, Amber English, to join our on-site production team. She interacted with participants, especially youth, and brought her expertise to the event. Another special guest? Sasquatch® made an appearance too, of course.  

After five action-filled days, the top clay shooter prize went to Joe Fanizzi, who won $15,000. Runner up, Gebben Miles took home $10,000. The 2022 turnout was successful, and because of that, we’re upping the stakes for 2023. And to add even more crazy to the mix, there will be more giveaways!
