Judnick Motorsports Race Recap – Grand Rapids, MI

The Judnick team went to Grand Rapids, Michigan for the second time in team history to race at Cannonsburg Ski Lodge, where the track is located directly on a ski hill. The terrain had several left and right hand turns and technical sections. Despite the challenge of the Triple Crown format in the Pro class, with three mini finals and tight turnaround times, Emil Harr excelled and led the team to first place victory.

Racer Emil Harr had a strong top three start and found himself in second place after the first lap. He had to balance playing offense and defense to keep up with the leader while fending off third place. At the five-minute mark, Emil made a pass and took the lead. In Round 2, he used the same strategy to take the lead early, leading the pack and dominating the race, ultimately finishing in a 10.7 second lead. Round 3 started off rough as Emil collided with another rider, but he managed to stay upright and take the lead on the first lap. He continued to gain momentum and pulled ahead by 8 seconds at the midway point, ultimately winning first in all three rounds and the Round 13 overall race. 

Emil Harr continued his successful weekend by earning the pole position and topping qualifying for the second time on Saturday. In Round 1, he took the lead on the first lap and maintained his composure to secure a dominant victory. Despite a poor start in Round 2 from being pinched off, Emil persevered, made his way to second place and caught up to the leader around the five-minute mark. He rode patiently and stayed consistent, and his efforts paid off when the leader made a mistake, allowing Emil to take another win. He carried his fierce momentum into Round 3 and took the lead right away, ultimately winning the round and the Round 14 overall race.

Judnick Motorsports made team history by sweeping the weekend and winning all six Triple Crown rounds, topping both qualifiers. Now, Emil will take the championship battle down to the final weekend. This racing season, Emil has won 3 out of the 4 Triple Crown overalls in the premier division. We love the untamed energy that he and everyone on the team has been giving us this season.
